About Us
The CV Bureau is led by me, Blathnaid Nolan. I graduated in the
Institute of Personnel and Development in 1986 and I have 13 years
experience in recruitment. I have worked in two high-technology
companies, the hotel industry and in legal recruitment, mainly
in the UK and more recently in Ireland.
The combination of trying to place people for an agency and select
people for companies has given me a good appreciation of the issues
for both candidates and employers. Thirteen years is a lot of
CVs - good and bad. I have seen candidates arrive for interview
with the added confidence of a strong CV that stands up to scrutiny.
On the other hand, I have also rejected many good candidates whose
CVs have failed to impress in the short time available for review.
My goal in setting up The CV Bureau is to help people to produce
the kind of CV that gets an interview and gives confidence on
arrival.
